Will hormonal therapy help urinary urgency?

Topic:Symptoms
Affected areas:bladderpelvicsystemic

Hormonal therapy can reduce urinary urgency for some patients—especially when symptoms flare in a cyclical pattern and appear tied to endometriosis or adenomyosis activity. By suppressing hormonal cycling, it may calm inflammation and pelvic pain that can irritate the bladder and drive the “have to go now” sensation.

That said, urgency isn’t always hormone-driven, and response varies from person to person. Side effects, your fertility goals, and whether there are other contributors (like bladder wall involvement or pelvic floor tension) all influence whether hormones are a good fit. Our team can help you sort out what’s most likely causing your urgency and build a plan that matches your symptoms and priorities—if you’d like, you can reach out to schedule a consultation.
